Twins make things right after fan steals kid's Byron Buxton signed baseball in Baltimore

Sam Cleveland was at the Minnesota Twins-Baltimore Orioles game Tuesday night at Camden Yards in Baltimore with his son, Camden, who finally got the chance to get an autographed baseball from his favorite Twins player, center fielder Byron Buxton.
But what had the beginnings of a great day at the park between a father and son quickly became a source of frustration and disappointment. A rude fan snatched the ball from the usher who was handing it back to them and took off, leaving Camden empty handed.
Cleveland posted about the incident on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and baseball fans stepped up to spread the word on social media, hoping they could catch the eye of the Twins and Buxton to help Camden out with a new autographed baseball.
Twins Twitter was so helpful yesterday! Can you help again today, and try to get some eyes on this to turn it into a happy story instead of a terrible one for Camden and our buddy @SEC432? pic.twitter.com/1mNzYvPI93

Sure enough, it all worked out in the end. An account on X titled Brewers Babes called upon Twins fans to bring attention to the incident, and the post caught the eyes of Buxton, Twins vice president of communications and content Dustin Morse and Bally Sports North's Audra Martin.
"Hope to see you today or meet you at some point! We will made it right! I gotcha!" Buxton posted.
Camden's story has a happy ending thanks to the generosity of his favorite player @OfficialBuck103. Baseball is the best. 👏 pic.twitter.com/ye2ijK2gkJ

“Byron and the Twins want to make this right! Thanks to Twins Twitter for letting us know! We are on it," Morse posted.
Not only did Camden get a Buxton-signed baseball, but he also got an autographed bat during a visit from Martin during the game. A pretty cool ending after a disappointing day on Tuesday.
