MLB Cardboard celebrities, fans a hot topic on opening day

Baseball is back, but MLB’s 2020 Opening day had a little different feel in the quiet, fan-free ballparks. Well, almost fan-free. If the fans behind home plate are now all cardboard... why is there still a safety net?
I will totally start watching baseball if it means I can see a ball knock over a cut out or even a whole row if someone rips a sweet liner
Please consider this idea
Love,
Kevin
