White Sox Pitcher Lucas Giolito Throws First No-Hitter of 2020
Lucas Giolito threw MLB's first no-hitter in the shortened season on Tuesday night vs the Pirates. Giolito struck out 12 Pirates and walked just one on his way to his first no-hitter and his 3rd win for Chicago this season.
This is the 19th no-hitter pitched in White Sox History. The White Sox have the most no-hitters in American League and the second most no-hitters in MLB history behind the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Chicago White Sox won Tuesdays game 4-0 over the Pittsburgh Pireatesand have won 8 of their last 9 games.
