The New York Yankees will be without their superstar for at least the next 10 days.

Outfielder Aaron Judge is going back on the injured list with a contusion and sprained ligament in his right big toe.

Judge underwent an MRI on Tuesday and was examined by the Yankees' team doctor, which resulted in the prognosis that he will require another IL stint. According to manager Aaron Boone, Judge received an injection in his toe.

Judge injured his toe while making a remarkable catch against the wall at Dodger Stadium over the weekend, where he busted the door of the wall open. The 31-year-old slammed his toe against the concrete on the bottom of the wall.

This is the second time this season that Judge will have spent time on the IL. He landed on the shelf for 10-days in late-April/early-May with a right hip strain.

With Judge out, the Yankees' outfield will feature Jake Bauers, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Willie Calhoun and Oswaldo Cabrera. Giancarlo Stanton is strictly serving as the Yankees' DH since coming back from a hamstring strain, so he is not an option in the outfield at the moment.

The Yankees are now without their two best outfielders in Judge and Harrison Bader (hamstring strain).

The loss of Judge is a massive blow for the Yankees, who will be missing the heart and soul of their lineup for the foreseeable future.
