What A Weekend!

Jimmy is out today recovering from one of the craziest sports weekends of the year and left Hot Clicks to me. So where to begin? Serena Williamsthrew a temper tantrum that would put John McEnroe to shame. Roger Federer made the greatest shot of his career. Two freshmen QBs (Matt Barkley and Tate Forcier) led their teams to stunning victories and secured rights to any girl they choose for the next four years. Michael Jordan gave a controversial Hall of Fame speech and managed to drop an S-bomb on live TV. Jay Cutler had a terrible first game for the Bears while Denver won on the luckiest play since Franco Harris' immaculate reception. We hardly blame you if you missed this piece of news -- English coach Fabio Capello has banned WAGs from the World Cup in South Africa next year, which means we won't be able to enjoy gratuitous shots of Danielle Lloyd, Cheryl Coleand the rest of soccer's sexiest eye candy. Hopefully this WAG collection can hold you over.

The Jordan Rules

Much has been said, both good and bad, about Michael Jordan's Hall of Fame induction speech. Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski found it uninspiring and mean while Michael Wilbonloved it. I can't say enough good things about it -- instead of delivering a polished, PR-friendly series of thank-yous, Jordan was honest and raw, giving us a glimpse of his persona the public rarely gets to see. Here's a video of the speech. What did you think?

Losing A College Football Bet

This was a great Week 2 in college football and Stewart Mandel has all the hardcore analysis in his College Football Overtime story. The all-star of the weekend may have been Ohio State sousaphone player Frank Cosenza, who took out an ESPN camera while he was dotting the I during the Buckeyes' pregame ceremony. Here at the SI.com office, we've been having some fun with Tate Forcier's ridiculously cheesy Web site, QBforce.com. So much so that we had a little wager between a Notre Dame and Michigan fan, with the loser having to get his picture taken in the other school's clothes. So here is Notre Dame fan and NFL producer Dom Bonvissuto, who you may know as the guy who gets the pleasure of editing all 11,000 words of Peter King each Monday morning, donning the maize and blue.

Stupid Celebrity Fights

Shaquille O'Neal and Oscar De La Hoya : Heinz Kluetmeier/SI, Michael J. LeBrecht II/1Deuce3

Rodney Kingfought a former cop in a pay-per-view bout last week at the Philadelphia Airport Ramada Inn (seriously). AskMen.com has compiled a top 10 list of the most stupid celebrity fights, including everyone from Screech to Vanilla Ice to Howard Stern's Beetlejuice. The only fight we'd really like to see is Shaquille O'Neal vs. Oscar De La Hoya, which took place on Shaq vs.

Don't Forget Tiger

Lost among the sports shuffle is Tiger Woods getting back on track with an eight-shot victory at the BMW Championship. Though he won the tournament quite handily, here is a compilation of Tiger's Top 10 all-time clutch shots.

A Word About Kanye West

In case you missed last night's Video Music Awards, Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video by rushing the stage to tell the world that Beyonce's video (which lost) was better. Now everyone is ripping on Kanye, including Pink, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry. Personally, West lost me when he decided he should be the next King of Pop after Michael Jackson died despite the fact that nobody thinks he deserves that honor besides Kanye West.

Another Reason To Love Gus Johnson

The only thing better than the Broncos' miraculous touchdown to beat Cincinnati yesterday was Gus Johnson's awesome call of the play. I mean, if there's one person you want calling a game-winning fluke 87-yard touchdown, it's Gus Johnson. This, however, is still my favorite Johnson call.

I have no idea why, but some dogs, including "Logan" in the video below, completely freak out to the Law and Order theme song. I can't tell if they love it or hate it, but it's pretty funny.
