Lindsay Lohan knows how to manufacture drama wherever she goes. And she's bringing that talent to the sports world. Lohan went to the Wildfox fall-collection party and was disappointed she was not seated at a table closer to the DJ. Who was at that table? New York Rangers Sean Avery and Aaron Voros (inset) and Voros' girlfriend, Jessica Stam. Lohan demanded they leave the party and threw a drink on Stam. In the end, it was Lohan who left.
Mark Teixeira was on hand to launch the Victoria's Secret PINK Major League Baseball Collection. The line features sweatshirts, t-shirts, crop pants, yoga pants and hats, and come in a variety of teams, including the Mets, Yankees, Red Sox, Cubs, Dodgers and Twins.
Nick Swisher visited the Rachel Ray show on May 19 and in addition to bringing his World Championship ring, he let the audience in on a few secrets. If he wasn't playing baseball, he would want to own his own landscaping company, his grandmother's fried chicken and mashed potatoes are his favorite meal and when it comes to music, it's all about the Zach Brown Band.
No good deed goes unpunished. David Arquette can attest to that. During Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, a fan tried to storm the court and took down a security guard while doing so. Arquette, close to the action, tried to wrestle the fan off the guard and fell to the floor in the process. Luckily, no one involved was hurt and the Lakers won, 128-107.
Is there a condiment you just can't travel without? Yeah, us either, but apparently Floyd Mayweather, Jr. must travel with A1 Steak Sauce. While on a recent trip to Vegas, Mayweather ordered a steak in a restaurant that, tragically, did not have any A1 on hand. The boxer conveniently pulled a bottle out of his bag and enjoyed his meal.
Athlete (ok, that's a stretch) Doug Reinhardt is apparently dating new Miss USA, Rima Fakih. The relationship doesn't sound too serious and that's a good thing. It's difficult to take a girl seriously who said the following on national television: "I believe that birth control is just like every other medication, even though it's a controlled substance."
Surprisingly, Matthew Broderick attended the May 22 game between the Yankees and Mets. Back in January, Broderick detailed the pain he experiences while rooting for the sub-par Amazins and even contemplated switching allegiances. Although in last place in the NL East, the Mets did manage to beat their hometown rival, perhaps giving Broderick a bit of satisfaction before New York faces the first-place Phillies on Tuesday.
Make a mental note: Policemen don't have a great sense of humor. UFC fighter Josh Koscheck left a Los Angeles club, casually walked up to a motorcycle cop, took his helmet off the bike and tried it on for size. But the impromptu dress-up session didn't sit too well with a second policeman. Koscheck promptly returned the helmet and went on to trash talk his next opponent, Georges St. Pierre.
Last week, Chad Ochocinco was voted off "Dancing with the Stars" leaving Nicole Scherzinger, Erin Andrews and Evan Lysacek (4th from left) to duke it out for the mirrored globe trophy. It truly is anyone's game as each contestant has his or her own strengths and weaknesses. A strength of Lysacek's? He has Olympian and former DWTS champion Apolo Ohno (inset) on his side. Ohno told People.com, "I heard the odds are a little bit against him, but if we could gamble on it I'd put money on him here in Vegas. I'd try to sway the vote and just Twitter like crazy."
