It's Day 2 of my seven day journey as Hot Clicks substitute teacher (Jimmy is out until Jan. 5) and there is no shortage of material to lead with. I thought about mentioning that this is a big day in the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger saga or discussing the NHL ref who gave Blue Jackets fans the finger. I contemplated showing this funny video of Hugh Jackman getting hit in his private parts during a game of cricket. As I searched the blogs, however, I kept seeing the same item over and over - Bar Refaeli at a Mexican beach. Since she is the pride and joy of Sports Illustrated, I made the executive decision to lead with this amazing photo of Refaeli along with some pics from her 2010 SI swimsuit shoot.

Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell was none too pleased about the cancellation of Sunday night's game between the Eagles and Vikings, proclaiming that "we're becoming a nation of wusses." Well said, Governor. Well said.

Rating the NBA Court Designs
If you happened to miss the New York Post's expose on Sunday about sports groupies, I suggest you check it out. It's a whole (alleged) world that most sports fans never new existed. As a native Bostonian, however, it is sad to see Paul Pierce on the "bad baller list." At least his team is 23-5.

MLB Year In Review
I can't say enough good things about Pacers forward Josh McRoberts'attempt to get into this year's slam dunk contest. McRoberts and teammate Brandon Rushfilmed a scene from White Men Can't Jump to jumpstart the campaign. I haven't even seen the video I'm already sold.
