Jimmy is out celebrating Derek Jeter's new and improved swing, but will be back tomorrow. Blake Griffin was the weekend's big star after converting the rare bounce-pass alley-oop on Friday and jumping over a car to win the Slam Dunk Contest on Saturday. Other stars of the weekend included Kobe Bryant, who won the All-Star Game MVP and showed LeBron that he isn't quite ready to give up the "NBA's Best Player" title just yet, and Isiah Thomas, who somehow seems to have (unofficially) finagled his way back into the Knicks' hierarchy despite all the harm he did the first time around. But my favorite moment was the kiss between JaVale McGee's mom Pam and Dr. J, who was judging JaVale in the dunk contest. Awkward!!

Totalprosports has compiled the nine most insane dunks you'll ever see, including a young Michael Jordan breaking the backboard, a mascot dunking off a 16-foot ladder and a guy doing two 360s in midair.

Poor Justin Duchscherer -- the righty showed up for spring training with his new team, the Orioles, only to discover that they misspelled the name on his jersey. Luckily, he has company when it comes to players with misspelled jerseys.

The weekend was also a coming-out party for 20-year-old Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne. The Tennessee native, who claims that Rugrats is his favorite show, survived one of the most dramatic races in the sport's history. He also became the youngest to ever win at Daytona, besting Jeff Gordon, who was 25 when he won the 500 in 1997. But don't feel too bad for Gordon -- he is married to the lovely Ingrid Vandebosch.

Jared Sullinger may be one of the nation's top college hoop stars, but the Ohio State forward should've known that he'd never live down his off-key rendition of Miley Cyrus'Party in the USA. The Purdue student section made sure of this when Sullinger stepped to the free throw line yesterday, but Sullinger calmly sank both shots.

It's not that often that a defender can save a game with a blocked shot, but that's exactly what Arizona's Derrick Williams did against Washington on Sunday.
