I was way ahead of the curve last year when I picked the Lions to make the playoffs. I still contend if the refs didn't screw them in Week 1, they would've made the postseason. But that's neither here nor there. Detroit is the sexy pick for prognosticators this year, so I wanted to find a different up-and-coming team to root for. I really wanted it to be the Rams, but their early season schedule is brutal. So, without further ado, here are my 2011 playoff predictions: AFC East: Patriots; AFC North: Steelers; AFC South: Texans; AFC West: Chargers; Wild Cards: Ravens, Jets. NFC East: Eagles; NFC North: Packers; NFC South: Falcons; NFC West: Cardinals; Wild Cards: Saints, Lions. Super Bowl: Patriots over Falcons.
