The No Fun League has turned into the No Common Sense League. Steelers linebacker Troy Polamalu has been fined $10,000 for using a cell phone on the sidelines during last week's game. The reason for Polamalu's using a cell? He was calling his wife to let her know he was OK after leaving the game with an injury.

The NFL Should Be Ashamed

Panthers defensive end Charles Johnson met Dan Aykroyd last night and tweeted a photo of himself with the actor. There was one problem, though. Johnson was wearing a Falcons hat. Naturally, this didn't go over well with Carolina fans, causing Johnson to issue a threat to his followers. In my opinion, Johnson should be allowed to wear and tweet whatever he wants based on his solid Twitter name: @randywattson. And now I have to link to this. (Thanks to @Durky29 for the tip.)

Cap Controversy

There have been tons of requests lately for model Melanie Iglesias to get LLOD honors. I think it's because she released Part I and Part II of these flip books videos. The reason doesn't matter, though. She deserves the honor just because.

This Sums It Up

Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis appeared on Mike Francesa's WFAN radio/YES Network TV show this afternoon. After the two argued for five minutes about whether Revis committed a pass interference penalty last week, a Jets PR person got on the phone and told Revis to hang up, which he did. The fun begins at the 4:30 mark.
