Jimmy and his dream girl, Jaime Edmondson, have eloped and will be honeymooning through New Years. He will return on Jan. 3. Meanwhile, the bloom is off Rex Ryan's rose after the Giants beat the Jets in the Battle of New York. Now the Jets' "fat bastard" coach (as Brandon Jacobs lovingly called him) is questioning whether quarterback Mark Sanchez is the longterm solution (though if reports of Sanchez's love life are true, he has reason to be distracted). In other NFL news, Bengals receiver Jerome Simpson made the play of the year, Chargers nose tackle Antonio Garay continues to have the best haircut-facial hair combo in sports and Cincinnati still won't support the Bengals.

Jake L. from Newtown Square, Pa. wrote to tell me that his wife just gave birth, he's slept nine hours in the last three weeks and needs some Catalina Otalvaro to get through the work day. I never heard of Otalvaro until Jake's email, but she certainly has the qualifications to be the Lovely Lady of the Day.

I can't say enough good things about this gallery of professional wrestlers in high school. While we're on the subject of wrestling, I really hope Shaquille O'Neal takes part in this year's Wrestlemania. He has already proved he has the chops for it.
