Rangers closer Joe Nathan, a huge New York Giants fan, bet teammate (and Cowboys fan) Mike Adams that the defending Super Bowl champs would have no trouble taking down Dallas in their opening week matchup. The loser agreed to wear the other team's uniform (helmet, pads and everything) on the field before a game this week. Nathan is a man of his word, as the photo above demonstrates. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, isn't the best sport when it comes to lost wagers.

Busy day in hockey yesterday. The Bruins signed Tyler Seguin to a six-year, $34 million contract extension; Chicago agreed to a one-year deal with veteran defenseman Michal Rozsival, and the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors offered a contract to Justin Bieber. That's right, Justin Bieber. The team's coach has seen the Canadian-born popstar on film and thinks he has some natural hockey skills. So will Bieber give up a lucrative music career to ride the buses of minor league hockey? Stay tuned.

Career Change For Justin Bieber?

Oakland pitcher Brandon McCarthy, who took over Hot Clicks for a day earlier this year, was released from a Bay Area hospital on Tuesday after getting hit in the head by a line drive and undergoing surgery. This tweet to his wife, Amanda, shows why he is one of the most entertaining athletes in pro sports today.

Baseball's Best Couple

For reasons I'll never understand, Simon Cowellchose Khloe Kardashian to host The X Factor instead of Chrissy Teigen or Erin Andrews. Here is the best argument for why Teigen should've been the host.

Skip Bayless has earned a reputation as one of the most annoying controversial blowhards analysts on television. Just ask Kevin Durant, who took issue with Bayless' claims that he is "owned by LeBron James" because the two are working out together.

Bayless vs. Durant

Durant wasn't the only one upset with something on ESPN yesterday. Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke took issue with the Worldwide Leader placing Toronto at the very bottom of its Ultimate Fan Rankings. Said Burke: "ESPN's hockey coverage stinks. I don't think they know anything about Canada. I don't think they know anything about hockey."

Burke vs. ESPN

A freshman linebacker at the North Dakota State College of Sciences in Wahpeton claims he was kicked off the team for kissing his 65-year-old boyfriend while watching the game from the press box ... Celtics point guard Rajon Rondotook a little shot at former teammate Ray Allen during an appearance on 106 & Park yesterday ... NFL.com got a little confused when proclaiming the New York Tebow as the 13th best team in football.

Random Notes

Whether you like Ray Lewis or not, you can't argue about him being a powerful public speaker. This was evident on Tuesday, when he delivered this sermon at Art Modell's funeral.

Eulogy Of The Day

Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo collides with Astros first baseman Brett Wallace while trying to leg out an infield single. Safe to say, Rizzo took the worst of the collision.
