Former Stanford swimmer Brock Allen Turner has been accused of raping an unconscious woman on campus and is expected to be formally charged on Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Santa Clara County district attorney’s office told the Times that Turner, 19, is expected to be charged with five felony counts, including rape of an unconscious woman, rape of an intoxicated woman and two counts of sexual assault with a foreign object.

A Stanford spokeswoman told the Times that Turner withdrew from the university on Tuesday and is barred from campus.

Turner was arrested and booked into jail after two men riding bikes spotted a man who would later be identified as Turner "on top of an unconscious woman." The two men tackled him and a third called police, according to the Times.

Turner was a freshman on the Stanford swim team and is from Ohio. His arraignment is set for Feb. 2.
