NBA All-Star Dunk Contest
Raptors guard Jamario Moon, Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay, Magic center Dwight Howard and Timberwolves guard and defending champ Gerald Green are introduced for the Slam Dunk Contest.
Dwight Howard started things off by standing on the baseline, tossing the ball off the reverse side of the backboard, catching it with both hands, and after peering through the glass at the rim, dunking left-handed.
Rudy Gay, who finished fourth, goes up for one of his first-round dunks.
Jamario Moon, who had difficulty impressing the judges, hits a long-jump slam.
After Timberwolves teammate Rashad McCants climbed up and placed a cupcake with a single candle in it on the back of the rim, Gerald Green soared in and blew out the candle before throwing down a nasty left-hander.
In the second round, McCants sat on the top step of a ladder and handed the ball off to a rising Green, who crushed another dunk.
Howard donned a Superman shirt and cape, got a running start from near midcourt and went airborne just inside the free-throw line.
Howard leapt so far from the basket, he had to throw the ball in as he came down.
Green makes a through-the-legs dunk in green socks after removing his sneakers. Green, however, was unable to top Howard's previous dunks.
Howard cradles his trophy after winning the contest.
