Serenaded with "MVP!" chants throughout the game, Kobe broke by one point Bernard King's Madison Square Garden scoring record. Bryant hit 19-of-31 from the field and all 20 of his free throws in the Lakers' 126-117 victory. This was Kobe's fifth career 60-point performance, one more than Michael Jordan.

LeBron James, Cavaliers | 55 points at MIL, Feb. 20, 2009

LeBron scored 16 points in the first 2:50 of the third quarter as the Cavs overcome a six-point halftime deficit en route to a 111-103 victory. James made 8-of-11 from three-point range. `'Just got in the zone, man,'' he said afterward.

San Antonio was staring at an 0-4 start when Parker nailed a 20-footer at the buzzer to force a second overtime. Parker also finished with 10 assists in the 129-125 victory. The All-Star point guard became the first player with a 50-10 game since the Bulls' Michael Jordan went for 57 and 10 against Washington on Dec. 23, 1992, according to STATS, Inc.

LeBron James, Cavaliers | 52 points at NY, Feb. 4, 2009

Two nights after Kobe erupted for 61 at MSG, LeBron scored 20 in the first quarter and cooled off only a bit in Cleveland's 107-102 victory. James was initially credited with a triple-double, with 11 assists and 10 rebounds, but the NBA later awarded one of his rebounds to Ben Wallace.

Roy scored 14 consecutive Blazers points in the third quarter as part of the first 50-point game of his career. Portland defeated the Suns 124-119.
