ATLANTA (SI.com) -- Kobe Bryant doesn't appear to be headed to Turkey anytime soon.

A source familiar with talks between the Los Angeles Lakers' star and the Turkish team Besitkas confirmed that Bryant has not spoken with the the club in more than two weeks, according to NBA.com.

The NBA.com source described the changes of Bryant landing with Besitkas at "zero percent."

The news comes 10 days after a deal between the two parties was reported to have been nearly complete.

The source did confirm that Bryant, a two-time NBA Finals MVP, would continue to consider playing overseas if the NBA lockout were to stretch into the season. The lockout began on July 1.
