Union chief Hunter outlines CBA as NBA players begin voting

NBA players began voting on the proposed collective bargaining agreement Wednesday evening after union chief Billy Hunter sent a letter to all players outlining the fine points of the deal. Voting will continue until 4 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Training camp and free agency are set to begin Friday, but the tentative agreement must be ratified by players and owners before the season can begin.

SI.com obtained a copy of Hunter's letter to players informing them of the voting system and encouraging them to sign off on the deal.
