From "memory of a lifetime" to "nightmare scenario" in seven seconds flat.

Following the Heat's nationally televised 98-93 win over the Nuggets on Thursday, cameras captured reigning MVP LeBron James handing out high fives to spectators sitting courtside. One particularly eager gentleman eyed James' progress along the line of well-wishers and proactively stuck out his right hand, squared away and ready for a greeting from a living legend. The Polaroid moment was ruined when James completely ignored the sweater-clad man, whose arm hung in the air awkwardly for several seconds as James went back the other direction, the moment gone forever.

To add insult to injury, the TNT crew, including Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley, had a good laugh at his misfortune.

"He tries to get his dap right now, he gets left hanging," Smith narrates. "He gets left hanging. Close that hand!"
