Thank goodness: a handful of NBA stars have stepped in to reclaim a popular Christmas tune from its regrettable appropriation as a Garmin GPS navigation jingle.

As part of its "BIG Color" marketing campaign -- the one that features single-color jerseys that will be worn during the Christmas Day quintuple header -- the NBA enlisted Lakers center Dwight Howard, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, Nets guard Joe Johnson, Thunder guard Russell Westbrook and Heat guard Dwyane Wade to dribble basketballs to the tune of "Carol of the Bells." The players are decked out in their monochromatic jerseys and take turns hitting the various notes, which definitely got some post-production clean-up work.

The Muppets already went viral with a rendition of the song back in 2009, but it's still worth thirty seconds of your life.
