Tuesday night's match-up of the two best teams in the West was missing Clippers guard Chris Paul, who sat with a bruised kneecap. Thunder forward Kevin Durant made sure the game wasn't lacking in top-shelf highlights.

With a little less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Thunder leading the Clippers 99-85, Durant crossed over Matt Barnes at the top of the key before elevating past Lamar Odom for a thunderous hammer dunk.

Durant beat Barnes with a left-to-right crossover before taking one dribble and two long steps to get deep into the paint. Odom and Grant Hill wanted no part of a real defensive rotation, which would surely have resulted in an even more violent poster, and Durant skied easily as both looked on. Replays showed Durant getting his head level with the rim as he spiked in his patented one-handed extension slam.
