Nike unveils Easter sneakers for LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant

Nike wouldn't let a major holiday pass without releasing new colorways for their three signature, superstar-endorsed basketball sneakers.
This week, the apparel company unveiled Easter-themed sneaker designs for LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. The pastel-heavy designs, which will be available on Mar. 29, "drew on the tradition of painting, dying and decorating Easter eggs," according to a company release. The Easter sneakers follow up previous special editions for Christmas Day and the 2013 All-Star Game.
Let's take a closer look at the Easter designs.

LeBron James is the only one of the three superstars to actually play on Easter Sunday this year, as the Heat will visit the Spurs in a showdown of conference-leading teams. James will likely be wearing these "mint" green versions of the LeBron X.
The LEBRON X LOW, LeBron James’s new low-cut signature shoe, continues the celebration of his 10-year partnership with Nike Basketball. The low version debuts in this special colorway, with mint as the base color of the shoe and a graphic collar-lining in Easter-egg hues. The LEBRON X LOW features a basketball-specific Max Air 360 unit that provides maximum impact protection and a smooth ride. Hyperfuse construction with Flywire technology delivers dynamic containment for optimal performance. The low-cut upper offers lightweight comfort and free range of motion.

Kobe Bryant and the Lakers will visit the Kings on Mar. 30, one day before Easter. Bryant will presumably wear this green/yellow/purple/black/spackle version of the Kobe 8.
The vivid color-blocking of the KOBE 8 SYSTEM overlays egg-painting technique on Kobe’s signature snakeskin pattern throughout the upper. Kevin Durant and the Thunder will also play on Saturday, Mar. 30, as they visit the Bucks in Milwaukee. The NBA's scoring champ could sport these light blue, white and orange KD V designs.
The KD V features soft blue-green tones and playful paint patterns on the Swoosh, tongue and visible Max Air unit in the heel. The KD V, Kevin Durant’s most technically advanced shoe to date, combines Nike Zoom cushioning in the forefoot and Nike Air in the heel, along with a Hyperfuse upper and dynamic heel support.
