The Clippers unveiled Monday a nautical-themed, light blue sleeved alternate jersey for the 2013-14 season.

Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and company will sport the new "Back in Blue" jerseys on all Sunday home games.

The jerseys are baby blue with red and white trim around the neck and down the sides. "Los Angeles" appears on the front in white script with red trip and the player's number appears in red with white trim.

Here are a few notes on the jerseys, which will go on sale Oct. 14, courtesy of Adidas.

• The “Back in Blue” uniform features light-blue color for the first time since the team was based in San Diego in 1985

• Light blue has a rich history with the organization and has been a part of the team’s identity since they were the Buffalo Braves in the 1970’s

• The lightweight woven shorts feature three iconic nautical flags to represent each of the team’s letters – L-A-C – to stand for Los Angeles Clippers
