I don't think Davis will start at center. Maybe there aren't as many big centers anymore, but there's still enough of them that he can't be guarding those guys to start the game. They can start Stiemsma, play him six minutes and then bring in Anderson to play with Davis. And then Smith comes in when those other guys need a break. But in the end, Davis and Anderson will be the big-man combination that gets them through most games.
