Stephen Curry tossed a lob from behind halfcourt to Andre Iguodala for an alley-oop dunk during Golden State's 110-90 victory over Philadelphia on Monday.
With a little less than five minutes remaining in the first quarter and the Warriors leading 26-12, Curry realized that the Sixers had no one inside the three-point line defensively as he brought the ball up court. Setting up to loft the pass as he stood between his own three-point line and the midcourt stripe, Curry flung the ball with one hand to a breaking Iguodala, who was outside the three-point line when the pass was initiated. There was plenty of time to read the pass and no defenders around, and Iguodala positioned himself for the two-handed catch-and-finish by elevating from just outside the restricted area. The high-flying connection brought the always boisterous Warriors reserves to their feet on the bench.

NBA players are hyper-competitive beings, and we really should be encouraging a long-distance lob-off between Curry and Chris Paul. Last Friday, the Clippers' All-Star guard connected with Blake Griffin on a stunning halfcourt alley-oop. Bring on round two.
Curry finished with a triple-double in just 29 minutes: 18 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds and five steals. Iguodala scored a game-high 32 points, including seven-three-pointers. Golden State improved to 3-1 with the win.
Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Turner each scored 18 points for the Sixers, who fell to 3-1 with the loss.
