Video: Celtics' Jeff Green dunks on Magic's Jason Maxiell

Celtics forward Jeff Green threw down a left-handed poster dunk over Magic forward Jason Maxiell on Friday night.

With Orlando leading 43-38 and a little more than two minutes remaining before halftime, Jordan Crawford drove into the right side of the paint, drawing Andrew Nicholson away from Green, who floated at the top of the key. Orlando's collapsed defense gave Green a clear driving lane, and he collected a pass from Crawford right at the three-point line, taking one dribble to his left before striding into the paint. Seeing Green's angle develop, Maxiell battled for position with Jared Sullinger, eventually stepping over into Green's path in hopes of taking a charge. That didn't work.

Elevating off of his right foot, Green rose high over the top of Maxiell's contesting effort, finishing with his left hand and even striking a "Jumpman" spread eagle pose as he completed the poster. Maxiell went crashing to the ground, but he was whistled for a blocking foul because he was in the restricted area. Green then stood over Maxiell, letting out a brief scream, before enjoying a celebratory shove from Sullinger.

Green's slam marks the first solid entry into the 2013-14 "Dunk of the Year" discussion.
