Video: Bulls' Taj Gibson throws down putback dunk over Nets' Mirza Teletovic

Taj Gibson spiced up a dull Christmas Day opener with a vicious putback dunk over Mirza Teletovic during Chicago's 95-78 defeat of Brooklyn at the Barclays Center on Wednesday.

To no one's great surprise, the Nets looked lackluster yet again, fading so badly in the second half that much of the fourth quarter was garbage time. With a little more than three minutes remaining in the game and Chicago leading by 20, Jimmy Butler drove down the right wing in search of a banking runner. The shot came ricocheting straight out from the hoop, perfectly teeing up Gibson, who is always opportunistic in such situations.

Rising high to corral the rebound with his right hand, Gibson slammed the ball home in home motion over the top of Teletovic, who wasn't in position (read: jumping high enough) to do anything about it.

Chicago's reserve forward is no stranger to highlights: Gibson posterized Kris Humphries during the playoffs and dunked all over Anthony Tolliver back in January.

Gibson finished with a game-high 20 points (on 9-for-15 shooting), eight rebounds and two assists. Butler added 15 points (on 4-for-10 shooting), five rebounds and four assists for Chicago.

Deron Williams led the Nets with 18 points (on 6-for-10 shooting) and four assists. Teletovic had 17 points and two rebounds in a losing effort.
