Video: Timberwolves' Kevin Martin hits game-winning jumper to beat Warriors

Timberwolves guard Kevin Martin hit a game-winning jumper with 8.4 seconds left to lift Minnesota to a 121-120 road victory over Golden State on Friday.

With Golden State leading 120-119 thanks to a pair of free throws from Andre Iguodala, Minnesota set up its final possession with Martin working against Klay Thompson out top. Martin passed the ball to Kevin Love with a little under 15 seconds remaining before cutting through the paint to the left wing. All eyes turned to Love at the left angle, and that extra attention allowed Martin to slip free for a return pass with roughly 10 seconds left. Thompson closed out hard, but it was too late, as Martin nailed a step-back jumper from the left corner that swished through to silence the Oracle Arena crowd.

A last-second jumper from Harrison Barnes on the other end was no good and Minnesota, who has struggled finishing out close games all season, held on for the win.

Martin finished with 26 points (on 10-for-17 shooting), four rebounds and two assists. Kevin Love shook off minor injuries to his left ankle and right knee to add 26 points (on 7-for-18 shooting), 14 rebounds and eight assists for Minnesota.

Stephen Curry tallied a game-high 33 points (on 12-for-21 shooting), 15 assists and three rebounds for the Warriors. David Lee added 23 points (on 10-for-15 shooting) and seven rebounds in a losing effort.
