Video: Bucks' Brandon Knight beats Knicks with game-winning three-pointer

Bucks guard Brandon Knight hit a game-winning three-pointer with two seconds remaining to lift Milwaukee to a 101-98 home victory over New York on Monday.

The shot came as a direct answer to a game-tying three-pointer by Carmelo Anthony on New York's previous possession.

With less than 20 seconds remaining and the shot clock turned off, Knight milked the clock near mid-court as Milwaukee spread the court so that he could work one-on-one against Raymond Felton. As the clock hit four seconds, Knight shifted towards the right angle, using a pair of quick crossovers to get Felton back on his heels. Sensing the opportunity, Knight then pulled up quickly from beyond the arc and swished his three-pointer before celebrating with a swinging fist pump.

"They had been switching on pick-and-rolls all night and the shot clock was winding down, so I just didn't want to get into a situation where they could trap me or just switch," Knight said, according to the Journal Sentinel.

Anthony tried to tie the game again with a desperation three at the buzzer but the shot was no good.

Upping the frustration factor for Knicks fans: the 22-year-old Knight is shooting just 33.3 percent from deep on the season and just 28.8 percent on three-pointers from the right angle.

Knight finished with a team-high 25 points (on 10-for-23 shooting and 4-for-8 from downtown), seven assists and three rebounds. Khris Middleton added 19 points (on 6-for-9 shooting), four rebounds and three assists for the Bucks.

Anthony finished with a game-high 36 points (on 13-for-25 shooting), five rebounds and three assists. J.R. Smith added 30 points (on 9-for-17 shooting), seven rebounds and three assists for the Knicks in a losing effort.
