Video: Clippers' Blake Griffin throws down big putback dunk vs. Warriors

Clippers forward Blake Griffin rose high to throw down a one-handed putback dunk during a 111-98 victory over the Warriors at the Staples Center on Wednesday night.

The four-time All-Star has been playing the best basketball of his career over the last few months, and he was at it again versus Golden State, pouring in a game-high 30 points (on 13-for-28 shooting) and added 15 rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Looking for the highlight of the night? With a little more than eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Clippers leading 89-84, Danny Granger lined up a three-pointer from the right angle. The shot rimmed out straight back towards the middle of the paint, perfectly setting the table for Griffin, who came charging towards the hoop in search of an offensive rebound.

When Granger released the shot, Griffin was near midcourt and barely in the video frame, but he covered the ground quickly, leaping through the traffic as the ball ricocheted out. No Warriors got a body on him, and Griffin timed his jump perfectly, catching the carom cleanly with his right hand and spiking home the putback dunk in one clean motion.

The Clippers also got 18 points (on 7-for-11 shooting) and six rebounds from Granger off the bench. Chris Paul added 16 points (on 5-for-15 shooting), 12 assists, eight rebounds and three steals in the win.

Klay Thompson led the Warriors with a team-high 26 points (on 10-for-19 shooting), one rebound and one assist. David Lee added 20 points (on 10-for-15 shooting), seven rebounds and four assists in a losing effort.
