Russell Wilson: What do I have to do to bring back the Sonics?

Still fresh off of a last-minute Super Bowl loss that left Seattle sports fans mentally scathed, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson asked Seattle sports fans what he needed to do to bring back Seattle's past NBA franchise, the Supersonics.

Still fresh off of a last-minute Super Bowl loss that left Seattle sports fans mentally scathed, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson asked that same demographic what he needed to do to bring back Seattle's former NBA franchise, the Supersonics.  

This isn't Wilson's first go-around with pro-Sonics activism. In September, Wilson tweeted that he voted 'yes' for moving the embattled Atlanta Hawks franchise to Seattle. 

Wilson's teammate Richard Sherman recently announced in a video on Bleacher Report his desire for the Sonics to return as well.

The Sonic left Seattle after the 2007-08 season and relocated to Oklahoma City under new ownership. Seattle area investors have been attempting to add an NBA and NHL franchise for the past several years. 

A recent ESPN report indicated that Seattle has more support from the NHL for a franchise than it has from the NBA, but is unable to bring an NHL franchise to the region until an NBA franchise is sourced first and 'unlocks' hundreds of millions of dollars in stadium funding.
