Washington Wizards point guard John Wall will not play in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Atlanta Hawks due to a wrist injury, the team announced.

Wall injured his left wrist and hand during Sunday's Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Wall had previously said Tuesday that there was no doubt in his mind that he would play in Game 2, and less than an hour before ruling Wall out the Wizards tweeted that head coach Randy Wittman had said everyone was available for Tuesday's game.

According to ESPN, Wall's left wrist was "visibly swollen" on Monday but the point guard participated in practice.
