Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll believes he has hip pointer

Atlanta Hawks forward DeMarre Carroll said he believes he suffered a hip injury late in Monday's game against the Washington Wizards, but doesn't consider it serious.
"Nene hit me with a physical pick and I fell on my hip," Carroll told WSB's Zach Klein. "[I] think I have a hip pointer, but I'll be all right."
Carroll scored five points and had six rebounds in Monday's Game 4 win over the Wizards. The series is now tied at 2 with Game 5 Wednesday in Atlanta.
Paul Pierce had a chance to tie the game for the Wizards with less than 10 seconds left. He was being guarded by Carroll when Nene set a screen to free Pierce. As Carroll attempted to fight through Nene's screen, their feet became tangled and Carroll fell to the ground.
Entering Monday's game, Carroll led the Hawks with 18.3 points per game in the playoffs and was third with 6.2 rebounds per game. He was Atlanta's fourth-leading scorer in the regular season.
