Cavaliers C Kendrick Perkins, wife questioned by police after argument
Cleveland Cavaliers center Kendrick Perkins and his wife were questioned by police in Westlake, Ohio, on Wednesday morning after they were seen arguing on the side of the road, Westlake police confirmed to SI.com.
Both parties told police it was a verbal altercation. The city prosecutor will review the report and determine if charges will be filed.
A motorist saw Perkins and his wife, Vanity, arguing and called 911. The caller described seeing Vanity strike Perkins while he was trying to exit their car and "was trying to pull him back, like grabbing him and pulling him back in."
"Looks like the woman is hitting the man and he's trying to get out of the car. They're parked on the side of the road," the caller said.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Hilliard Boulevard and Crocker Road, about 17 miles west of the Cavaliers' home arena. Perkins was taken home by police and Vanity left in the car the couple was driving.
Perkins played less than two minutes in Cleveland's win over the Chicago Bulls in Game 5 of their playoff series Tuesday night. Game 6 is Thursday in Chicago.
