Nuggets' Wilson Chandler (hip) undergoes surgery, out for season

Wilson Chandler to miss 2015-16 season with torn labrum

The Denver Nuggets announced that forward Wilson Chandler underwent successful hip surgery and will miss the remainder of the season.

Chandler, 28, played in 78 games last season and averaged 13.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. He is expected to return next season. Chandler previously underwent hip surgery in May 2012.


Chandler signed a four-year, $46.5 million contract extension over the summer.
