'Himmy Butler': Embiid Roots for Miami Heat Star on Twitter

In this story:
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid never shied away from supporting his former teammate, Jimmy Butler. Although Butler worked on a sign-and-trade to land with the Miami Heat after deciding that the Sixers weren’t the best spot for him long-term, Embiid has made it clear plenty of times in the past that the Sixers shouldn’t have let him walk.
Butler’s Monday night performance in Game 4 of the first-round series between the Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks was just another example of why Embiid preferred to keep Butler around.
Once again, “Playoff Jimmy Butler” was in action. Although the Heat struggled throughout the first three quarters of Monday’s game, Butler was putting on a masterclass to keep his team in it.
By the end of the first half, Butler had 24 points on 9-13 shooting in 20 minutes of action. He checked in for the entire third quarter and produced 11 more points.
With 35 points to his name going into the fourth quarter, Butler and the Heat were closing in on Milwaukee’s lead. As they trailed by 11 points going into the fourth quarter, Butler and Heat turned their play up a notch in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Bucks 41-25.
As Butler lit social media on fire with his fourth-quarter dominance, Sixers center Joel Embiid joined in on the action.

During his final eight-minute shift on the court, Butler knocked down six of his eight shots from the field. He went to the free throw line for nine attempts, draining all but one of his foul shots.
Butler finished the quarter with 21 points in eight minutes. He helped the Heat rally to defeat the Bucks 119-114.
Overall, Butler finished Game 4 with 56 points on 19-28 shooting from the field and 15-18 shooting from the charity stripe.
Along with his scoring, Butler totaled nine rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot. With that win, Miami takes a shocking 3-1 lead in the series over the top-seeded Bucks.
