The Philadelphia 76ers have one more day of practice before they finally take the floor to tip off their second-round series against the Boston Celtics

Before that happens, the second round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs will begin with a Game 1 matchup between the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon.

The eighth-seeded Heat will pay a visit to the fifth-seeded  New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden for the first two games before the series makes its way to South Beach.

Here’s a look at the full schedule, with times included for the first four games, which are guaranteed to be played.

Knicks vs. Heat Schedule and Times

  • Game 1: Sunday, April 30, 1:00 PM ET.
  • Game 2: Tuesday, May 2, 7:30 PM ET.
  • Game 3: Saturday, May 6, 3:30 PM ET.
  • Game 4: Monday, May 8, 7:30 PM ET.
  • Game 5: Wednesday, May 10, TBD
  • Game 6: Friday, May 12, TBD
  • Game 7: Monday, May 15, TBD

Both teams entered their first-round series as underdogs. The Knicks cracked a spot in the playoffs as the fifth seed, drawing a first-round series against the fourth-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers.

Meanwhile, the Heat lost their first game in the NBA Play-In Tournament before cracking the eighth seed and picking up a series against the top team in the conference, the Milwaukee Bucks.

After finding success against the Cavaliers throughout the regular season, the Knicks continued to take care of business against Cleveland in the postseason. With just five games needed to take care of business, the Knicks defeated the Cavs 4-1.

Miami’s battle against the Bucks shocked the NBA. As Heat star Jimmy Butler continued the trend of turning his postseason play up a few notches, he dominated and helped Miami win four of five games in the first round, knocking out the East’s top dogs.

Now, the Knicks and the Heat will battle it out for a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. On the other side, the Sixers and the Boston Celtics will begin their series on Monday, May 1.
