76ers vs. Celtics: Game 2 Odds & Prediction

On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Boston Celtics will meet for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

When the second-round series tipped off on Monday in Boston, the Sixers entered the matchup shorthanded, missing their superstar center Joel Embiid.

After suffering a knee sprain in Game 3 of the first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets, Embiid couldn’t take the court for over a week. Despite getting some time off, Embiid entered Game 1 listed as doubtful.

Before the Sixers and the Celtics tipped off on Monday, Embiid was officially ruled out for the second-straight game. And once again, the Sixers proved they can win without him.

James Harden put on his best postseason performance as a member of the 76ers in Game 1. With efficient shooting from the field, Harden tied his playoff career-high by scoring 45 points. The veteran guard led the Sixers to an upset four-point victory.

On Wednesday, the Sixers will get Embiid back in the fold. Although he was listed as doubtful on the injury report once again, the big man will return to the court for the second outing of the postseason.
