Coming off a victory against the Boston Celtics, the Philadelphia 76ers are back on the floor Thursday night to take on the Miami Heat for the final time this year.

At this point in the season, the Sixers don’t have much to play for. Not only do they have a playoff berth clinched already, but a Toronto Raptors loss to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday locked the Sixers into the third seed.

Thursday’s game serves as an opportunity for the Heat to avoid the Play-In Tournament once more. With a victory over the Sixers, the Heat’s sixth-seed hopes remain alive. A Miami loss would allow the Brooklyn Nets to clinch the sixth seed, which would create a first-round playoff matchup between the Sixers and the Nets.
