On Thursday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will participate in their final home game of the 2022-2023 regular season. Although the Sixers have been relatively healthy lately, they entered Thursday’s game with a few prospects on the injury report.

Tyrese Maxey was among one of the starters listed on the report. He was questionable with neck stiffness. While Maxey did have a hard fall during Tuesday’s win over the Boston Celtics, the young guard still finished the night with a 39-minute shift.

In addition to Maxey, the veteran forward PJ Tucker was also added to the injury report. He was questionable with right calf tightness. While Tucker has battled his fair share of setbacks throughout the year, he tends to push through the issues and play. This season, Tucker has appeared in 74 matchups for the Sixers.

Lastly, the veteran reserve De’Anthony Melton was added to the Sixers’ injury report due to calf tightness as well. Playing in 76 games this season, Melton has been in and out of the Sixers’ starting lineup throughout the year.

When James Harden was out with Achilles soreness for a small stretch recently, Melton found himself in the starting lineup. With Harden back in the picture, the veteran guard has resumed his role off the bench, averaging 20 minutes per game over the last two matchups.

Maxey won't get the nod to go on Thursday night, as he's been ruled out. However, the Sixers will have PJ Tucker and De'Anthony Melton available. As expected, Melton will start on Thursday in the absence of Maxey.
