The Philadelphia 76ers will have their third meeting of the season against the New York Knicks on Sunday night. 

Coming into the week, the Sixers were red-hot. While they haven’t cooled down, a ten-point loss to the Orlando Magic on Monday night issued them their first loss in eight games. Since then, the Sixers have continued to find success.

Two nights after coming up short against the Magic, the Sixers got back at Orlando and defeated the Magic for the third time in four outings this year. Then on Friday night, Philadelphia fired up a multi-game road trip with a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. 

By defeating the Spurs by 12 points, the Sixers snagged their ninth win in ten games. Now, the Sixers are set to face the Knicks on Sunday night for the third time this year.

When the two teams met in South Philly in November, the Sixers came up short with a tight two-point loss. Over a month later, the Sixers paid a visit to Madison Square Garden to go against the Knicks for the second time. Although New York looked primed for another win on primetime, the Sixers constructed an impressive second-half comeback and defeated the Knicks by seven points.
