The Philadelphia 76ers are set to continue their road trip on Sunday night. This time around, they’ll face their Atlantic Division rival, the New York Knicks.

So far, it’s been a busy but successful week for the Sixers. On Monday, they welcomed the Orlando Magic to South Philadelphia for a two-game stretch. Despite finding success twice against the Magic earlier in the year, the Sixers came up short in their Monday night battle against the Magic.

Two nights later, they bounced back. Coming off of a ten-point loss to Orlando, the Sixers got revenge and defeated the Magic for the third time this season on Wednesday. After getting off to a 1-1 start to the week, the Sixers hit the road for a multi-game road trip.

On Friday, the Sixers kicked off the road trip with a game against the San Antonio Spurs. Unlike their first meeting against the Spurs, the Sixers came out on top. Heavily favored to win the matchup, the Sixers did their job and took care of business without any issues and collected a dominant win.

Now, Philadelphia will make its return to Madison Square Garden to square off with the Knicks. The Sixers and the Knicks have played each other twice already this season. In the November 4 meeting, the Sixers hosted the Knicks in a game that resulted in a two-point win for New York.

On Christmas Day, the Sixers paid a visit to The Garden for a primetime matchup. Although the Knicks controlled the game throughout the afternoon, the Sixers formed an impressive second-half comeback to snag themselves a 119-112 victory.
