Bulls' Alex Caruso Could Miss Another Game vs. 76ers

In this story:
*UPDATE: The Chicago Bulls have ruled Alex Caruso OUT on Wednesday night against the 76ers.
The Philadelphia 76ers and the Chicago Bulls will battle it out once more on Wednesday night in the Windy City. Whether Chicago will get a reinforcement back on the floor or not is currently unclear.
Bulls’ defensive standout Alex Caruso entered Monday’s game in South Philly on the injury report listed as questionable. According to the Bulls, Caruso is dealing with left midfoot soreness.
Less than two hours before the Bulls and the Sixers tipped off their matchup, Chicago head coach Billy Donovan mentioned that Caruso would get the night off. It was the second game the young veteran would miss this month.
Despite playing without Caruso on Monday night, the Bulls found success over the Sixers. Both teams traded shots throughout the evening, tying the game up at 91 before the end of regulation.
One overtime period wasn’t enough to find a winner. As the Sixers and the Bulls battled it out in double-overtime, Chicago saw a slight edge and picked up a four-point win while shorthanded.
The Sixers and the Bulls will engage in a rematch on Wednesday night in Chicago. Caruso is once again questionable for the matchup.
The last time Caruso missed back-to-back games was on February 6, when the Bulls hosted the San Antonio Spurs. While Caruso’s setback didn’t seem significant, there is a chance he could sit out against the Sixers on Wednesday night.
