On Tuesday, the Philadelphia 76ers booked their tickets to the playoffs for the sixth straight season following the Brooklyn Nets' loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The clinching comes after the Sixers failed to secure it themselves on Monday, after dropping a game to the Chicago Bulls, 105-109, in a double overtime spectacle.

Granted, Philadelphia would get their revenge on Wednesday night as they faced the Bulls for the second straight game.

Joel Embiid would only play in the first half, scoring 12 points, before sitting due to a sore calf.

While the MVP candidate sat, his teammates heated up, with Tobias Harris finding his stride early, ending the game with 20 points on 56 percent shooting, dishing eight assists, and securing nine rebounds.

De'Anthony Melton would also have himself a night, leading the Sixers in scoring with 25 points, which included four buckets from beyond the three.

Despite getting revenge against Chicago and being in relatively great form as of late, Melton spoke with NBC Sports Philadelphia, highlighting several areas for improvement as the playoffs loom.

"We feel like we can always get better, we still have stuff that we can cut down on, turnovers, miscommunications, and defensive assignments," said Melton.

The former USC guard feels that cutting back on these mistakes will only make them a more potent team in the playoffs.

"When we cut down on that type of stuff we're going to become even more deadly, we're a great basketball team now but we can be even better."
