Going into the Tuesday night matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics have some injury concerns. Among those listed on the Celtics’ injury report is the veteran All-Star Jaylen Brown.

According to Boston’s injury report, Brown is dealing with lower back pain. Leading up to the matchup, the Celtics consider Brown questionable for the matchup against the Sixers.

The last time Brown missed a game was back on February 27, when the Celtics visited the New York Knicks. In Brown’s absence, Boston suffered a 15-point loss.

Since returning to the floor, Brown has appeared in 16-straight games for the Celtics. During that run, Brown knocked down 51 percent of his shots from the field, putting up 27 points per game. In addition to his scoring, Brown averaged six rebounds, four assists, and one steal during that stretch.

In the Celtics’ previous three matchups against the Sixers this season. Brown averaged 22 points while knocking down 48 percent of his shots. He also put up three assists per game.

While an absent Brown would be an advantage for the Sixers, the Celtics have a surprisingly successful record in the absence of the star forward.

In the 12 games Brown missed this year, the Celtics achieved a 9-3 record. Their only losses came against the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and the New York Knicks.
