The Miami Heat will visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. Heading into the matchup, the Heat are unsure whether or not they’ll have their big man on the court, as Bam Adebayo is on the injury report.

Per the Heat’s injury report, Adebayo is dealing with left quadriceps tendon strain. When he was initially placed on the report, Miami considered the veteran questionable to play.

On Thursday afternoon, Adebayo was slightly upgraded to probable to play. Barring any setbacks during pregame warmups, Adebayo should be cleared for action against the Sixers.

This season, Adebayo has missed just six matchups. When the Heat faced the Dallas Mavericks on April 1, the standout center got the night off. That marked Adebayo’s first absence in 35 games. Three nights later, Adebayo would return to the court.

In the Tuesday night matchup against the Detroit Pistons, Adebayo checked in for 31 minutes. He put up ten shots from the field, knocking down six of them. The standout center wrapped up the game with 18 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Adebayo and the Heat are set to face the Sixers at 7:30 PM ET.
