During the Philadelphia 76ers game against the Hawks Friday, Joel Embiid had a bit of an injury scare. While driving to the basket, he lost his balance and appeared to have injured his knee. Embiid later got up limping but managed to stay in the game and help the Sixers secure a win.

Coming off the win, the Sixers had an off day Saturday before holding practice on Sunday. When the action wrapped up, Nick Nurse spoke to the media to discuss the day's events.
When asked about Embiid's status in practice, Nurse cited that he was a full participant. As far as what this means for him moving forward, the Sixers coach said it is TBD for now.
"He was out there today, he looked pretty good. I think that they're still TBD'ing the listing for the game here. I think they're going to do some more stuff here, see how he came out of practice. He was out there and he's doing okay," Nurse told reporters Sunday.
Based on Nurse's response, Embiid could end up being a game-time decision for the Sixers' matchup with the Wizards on Monday. Washington is a team he's had great success against this season, most recently notching a season-high 50 points last week.
In the event that Embiid doesn't suit up on Monday, it will mark his fourth missed of the season. So far this year, the Sixers are 0-3 in games where the All-Star center is not in the lineup.
Even though his status remains unclear, Embiid being a full participant in practice is a positive sign that no major injury was suffered.
