Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics: Game 3 Odds & Prediction

In this story:
The Philadelphia 76ers will return to the floor on Friday night to face the Boston Celtics for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Both teams met for the first time this postseason on Monday in Boston. Although the Sixers entered the matchup shorthanded, missing their MVP-winning center Joel Embiid, James Harden made sure his team could come out on top as he put together a highly-impressive 45-point performance.
With a 1-0 lead, the Sixers had a ton of momentum going into Game 2. Not only did Embiid win his first MVP trophy, but the big man was cleared for action after missing the Sixers’ previous two games with a sprained knee.
Unfortunately for the Sixers, the momentum quickly faded when an angry Celtics team got back at them in Game 2. Boston laid the smackdown and dominated the Sixers by over 30 points in Game 2, tying the series up 1-1.
Now, the Sixers will get an opportunity to host a game since their first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets. The last time the Sixers hosted the Celtics, the MVP put on a 52-point performance to defeat Boston for the first time this season.
The Sixers will search for the same success on Friday, after Embiid is presented with the Most Valuable Player award officially.
