3 Sixers to Watch in Preseason Finale vs. Hawks

In this story:
On Friday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will play their final preseason at home against the Atlanta Hawks. For some, it will be the last reps of live action before the regular season. Meanwhile, others will still be battling for rotation minutes.
Before the preseason action gets underway, here are some players to keep an eye on for the Sixers.
Kelly Oubre Jr.
Throughout the preseason, Kelly Oubre Jr. has been one of the biggest standouts for the Sixers. Despite signing with the team late, he's proven to be impactful on both ends through his first three games.
Overall, Oubre has been one of the top performers for the Sixers in the preseason. He's averaging 15.0 PPG and shooting 38.9% from three on six attempts per game. If he is able to keep up his stellar play, Nick Nurse might have no choice but to make him a key rotation piece off the bench.
After leaving the last game against the Nets with back spasms, Tyrese Maxey will also be a player to watch. This game will be important for him as it'll be the first time he's sharing the floor with Joel Embiid this year.
With the uncertainty of James Harden right now, Maxey has to be prepared to take on more offensively. The Sixers rising star has been aggressive all preseason and now has to continue it playing alongside the reigning MVP.
Coming in at the last spot is a rather shocking name, veteran forward Danny Green. While some are fighting for rotation minutes, the three-time champion is battling for a spot on the roster.
Right now, the Sixers have 16 players on the roster. That number needs to be trimmed to 15 before the regular season. As an older veteran on a non-guaranteed deal, Green is among the top candidates who could be cut.
Along with providing a veteran presence, Green has played well in the preseason. He's averaging 5.7 PPG and still shooting over 40% from three. The 36-year-old might not be able to handle his workload from the past but is proving he can still be valuable to the team on and off the floor.
