In less than 24 hours, the Philadelphia 76ers will start their regular season schedule. Despite some uncertainties hanging over their heads, one of the team's veterans feels the group is in a great space mentally.

Over the summer, the team has made a lot of changes on and off the court. Doc Rivers was replaced by Nick Nurse, and multiple new faces have been added to the roster.

All this change would typically lead to some growing pains, but Tobias Harris doesn't feel that way. Earlier this week, the veteran forward was asked about the team's mindset heading into the year. He feels there is a newfound confidence among them, and it stems from guys having something to prove.

"We're a confident group, coach is establishing us. Just the mindset of expecting to win every single time we get on the floor," Harris told reporters. "We're excited for this opportunity to get the season going. This is a hardworking group of guys that want to win. If you go down the whole roster, everyone has something to prove."

This boast of confidence from Harris is a good sign as the Sixers begin the year. The team will need to stay focused on basketball as the James Harden saga continues to unfold. New developments came out Wednesday as Harden made his return after being away for personal reasons. However, he will not be traveling with the team as he does his ramp at the training facility in Camden.

If the Sixers want any shot at starting the year on the right foot, they'll need the level of confidence Harris boasted about. They have an extremely tall task opening night as they'll face off against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard in their regular season debut.
