Jae Crowder and Bobby Portis Jr. work out in Miami as they prepare to join Milwaukee Bucks lineup

In this story:
The All-Star break is welcomed by most NBA players as a way to take a breath away from the rigors of the regular season. Save for the All-Stars who have to participate in the game and all the related activities during All-Star weekend, most players head somewhere else—whether in the US or another country—to just take a break.
Apparently, the Milwaukee Bucks; newly-acquired forward Jae Crowder and sixth man Bobby Portis Jr. aren’t like other NBA players.
In Miami doing work
According to ESPN reporter Mark Jones, Crowder, Portis, and Joe Ingles flew to Miami to work out with NBA skills trainer Stanley Remy. Jones also reported that Crowder was already building chemistry with his Bucks teammates and that he was already at his playing weight.

After not playing at all this season due to a row with his previous team, the Phoenix Suns, Crowder is not wasting any time in getting up to speed on his new team. In a video of their scrimmages, Crowder was seen fighting for rebounds and casually making three-pointers. Portis, on the other hand, made several jumpers and looks poised to return to the Bucks lineup after missing time due to a knee injury.
Just saw that @MarkJonesESPN tweet about a few Bucks working out down in Miami during the All-Star Break.

Both will be pivotal
With Giannis Antetokounmpo set to miss some time due to a wrist injury, the Bucks will need both Crowder and Portis to provide an extra boost on offense. With their team already full of offensive talent, it looks like these two veterans are ready to step up and make sure the Bucks don’t let up as they try to snatch the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Just a few of our favorite plays from this season so far. 🔥

At 41-17, the Bucks are just half a game behind the top-seeded Boston Celtics. Milwaukee returns to action on February 25th when they take on the Miami Heat.
